I have already posted the original Graveyard Angel II shot from a couple of years ago.
What this post is about is a new version of the image.
I inverted the digital image in Photoshop, so it became a negative, and printed it out on acetate.
This gave me a physical negative that I placed on top of a sheet of watercolour paper coated with cyanotype chemicals.
I exposed this in bright sunlight for 4 minutes and the result is what you see here.
This is a simple, but effective, way of marrying 21st century digital photography with an analogue process that dates back to the mid 18th century.
Something that provides me with no small amount of personal artistic satisfaction.
