Green Lights in the Snow Shower

I’m back from the northern Norway – Finnish border. The Aurora Borealis shone brightly for me, even if I had to chase through snow showers to catch it.

The wierd thing was when I was looking up all I could see was a faint, light grey streak. After I had photographed the skies the back of my D810 showed the green you can see in the picture.
The pic was captured with a 5 second exposure at f2.8 and I forget the ISO. It was fairly high, maybe 6400 or even a bit higher?
This has been an amazing trip. And exhausting. I did five excursions in three days, whale watching, husky sledging, meeting reindeer and two Aurora Borealis chases. I was glad to come home for a rest, and to edit the whole shoot down to a manageable number.
