I was shooting a 1970’s horror glamour assignment, in an antique dealer’s establishment.
I was working with the singer Louise Crane (The Eden House) who is recording a solo album and was in need of some promotional shots for her work.
Our location, The Swan, in Tetsworth, was an Aladdin’s cave of treasure, and it suited the mood that we created perfectly. We couldn’t have had a more perfect set too work in if we’d been in The Hammer House Of Horror’s heyday studios.
It was also a chance for me to get my flashgun into a brolly and exercise some creative off camera flash techniques. Something that I’d not done for a while.
Louise and I had a great time, it hardly felt like working at all, and we are both over the moon with the results. The pics look amazing (even if we do say so ourselves)
We might be children of the night, but what sweet images we make……
